Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
Ayden Studio (“Ayden Studio”, “we”, “us”) provides the Ayden Studio mobile app (the “App”), an AI tool that turns a photo of your space into redesigned interior and exterior visuals. This policy explains what the App processes and why. The App is operated under the Ayden Studio name. You can reach us at privacy@aydenstudio.com.
2. Anonymous use at launch
At launch, the App can be used anonymously without creating a personal account. You are not required to provide your name, email address or phone number, and the launch version does not include sign-in with Apple, Google or any social login. Your device is linked to a random anonymous identifier, used only to keep your generations, history and subscription tied to your device. If we introduce optional accounts or sign-in in the future, we will process the information necessary for those features and update this policy accordingly.
3. Information we process
a. Photos you import
When you redesign a space, you import a photo from your camera or photo library. It is compressed on your device, uploaded to our backend, and sent to our AI provider (OpenAI) to generate the result. We access your camera or photo library only when you actively import a photo or save a result.
b. Generated images and project history
The redesigned images, your project and chat history, and your design instructions are stored so that you can view them again.
c. Design instructions (text and voice)
You can type your instructions or, with microphone permission, dictate them. Speech is transcribed using the speech recognition capabilities provided by your device’s operating system; we do not store your voice audio. The resulting text is treated like a typed instruction (sent to our backend and to OpenAI). Audio processing performed by the operating system is governed by the device provider’s own terms.
d. Subscription and purchase data
If you subscribe, the purchase is handled by Apple’s App Store and by RevenueCat, our subscription provider. We receive your subscription status, the product purchased and transaction identifiers, linked to your anonymous identifier. Payment is processed by Apple; we never receive or store your card details.
e. Push notifications
If you allow notifications, we register a push token (via Firebase Cloud Messaging) to send notifications such as “your design is ready”.
f. Technical and diagnostic data
Our backend keeps basic logs (requests, errors, timestamps) needed to operate, secure and troubleshoot the service. The App uses no third-party advertising, no analytics and no cross-app tracking, and does not access your location or your contacts.
4. AI-generated content
The redesigned images are produced by artificial intelligence. They are illustrative concepts and may contain inaccuracies, artifacts or unrealistic elements. They do not constitute professional architectural, engineering, structural or safety advice, and should not be relied upon for construction, renovation or safety decisions. Always consult a qualified professional before acting on any design.
5. Why we process this information
To generate your images; to store and show your history and results; to provide, manage and restore your subscription and free generations; to send the notifications you opted into; and to operate, secure, debug and improve the service. We do not sell your information and do not use it for advertising or tracking.
6. Legal basis
Where the GDPR or similar laws apply, we rely on:
- Performance of the service you request — generating and storing your designs, and managing your subscription.
- Our legitimate interests in operating, securing and improving the App.
- Your consent for push notifications, which you can withdraw at any time in your device settings.
- Compliance with our legal obligations, where applicable.
7. Service providers
We share only what is necessary, with:
- OpenAI — image generation.
- Supabase — backend, database, storage and anonymous authentication.
- RevenueCat and Apple — subscriptions and purchases.
- Firebase Cloud Messaging (Google) — push notifications.
- Render — hosting of our backend API.
Each of them processes data on our behalf, under its own terms and security measures.
8. Retention and deletion
We retain your generated images, project history and anonymous identifier for as long as they are needed to provide the service to you, unless you ask us to delete them.
Photos you import are stored as the before image of your project, so your before/after comparison and history remain available. They are not deleted automatically after generation.
You can request deletion of your data at any time by writing to privacy@aydenstudio.com. We will respond to and act on valid deletion requests within 30 days.
Because the App can be used without an account, deleting the App from your device does not by itself delete data already stored on our servers.
9. Security
We use reasonable technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and access controls on our backend. On iOS, your device session is stored in the system Keychain. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure.
10. International transfers
Our providers, including OpenAI, Supabase, RevenueCat, Apple, Google and Render, may store and process data in the United States and in other countries where they or their sub-processors operate. Where required by law, we take steps for such transfers to be subject to appropriate safeguards.
11. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your data, or to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise these rights, contact privacy@aydenstudio.com. As we do not require your name or email address at launch, we may identify your data by your device’s anonymous identifier, which you may need to provide.
12. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, or the higher minimum age required in the user’s country, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information. If you believe a child has provided us with information, contact us and we will delete it.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we will post the updated version on this page with a new effective date.
